SKYWAY ANTIQUES

Hello, welcome to the Skyway Antiques web page. We are conveniently located in Building 2 of the Charles Hall Museum in Tellico Plains, TN and open every day. We offer a wide array of antiques, uniques, vintage items, and collectibles as well as local arts and handcrafts. Take a walk through our store and enjoy a step back in time to a day when life was far more simple, a day when washtubs, crocks, and coffee grinders were all part of everyday life. Watch a record spin on a vintage player, or hear todays tunes coming from a radio like the one your grandparents had. There's a lot of lovely furniture built before the days of pressed wood and plastic, beautiful glassware, and old china. Many people mistake our store for part of the museum but everything has a price tag and some of our prices may surprise you. We enjoy hunting bargains and like to share them with our customers when we are able to find them.

One thing you’ll find here more than any other antiques shop in the area is vintage electronics that have been electrically restored and are guaranteed. That’s old tube type radios and record players, including car radios from the 30’s through the 50’s. We have them because I restore them.

Some of the items you will always find in our store are jewelry from vintage to relatively new, lots of watches from mechanical to electric, pocket and wrist, and candy, like Sugar Daddy’s, Tootsie Pops, and old time candy sticks. Otherwise, inventory changes and there’s no telling what you might find. One thing you will find for sure, and that’s a good deal. Take a look at our picture gallery throughout this page to see some of the items that pass through here. Most of the merchandise belongs to us, but we do have a few consignment items.

So, be sure to visit us at the Charles Hall Museum in building two, behind building one. As well as having our great antiques store, our building has what may be the second largest telephone museum in the country. It has incredible displays of underground and above ground wiring to show what it’s like to be there. Too many telephones to count on display from the first to cell phones. We also have some electronics, washing machines, a model T telephone service truck, and a most beautiful 1934 Plymouth Mayflower that’s been restored to original, but is actually even better. We’re right on the start of the Cherohala Skyway in town.
