TRAIL STEWARDSHIP WITH A VISION
The Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship has been busy this summer, building new trails that connect the town of Graeagle with the Lakes Basin Recreation Area, and to the surrounding Plumas and Tahoe Forests. Click the map below for a glimpse into what we hope is the future for our two counties; a network of trails connecting rural communities to eachother and to their surrounding public lands.
NORTH YUBA RIVER TRAIL
Come check out the North Yuba River Trail. It's now 100% rideable from Downieville to Indian Valley, with a connection to Forest City planned in the near future.
Click here for a map showing the new extension along with directions on how to find the trailhead in Downieville.
Click Here for a map of the SBTS Mountain Epic route. And click here for the big picture of the proposed North Yuba River Trail connecting Yuba Pass to Bullards Bar Reservoir. Nice!
TRAIL WORK
The SBTS and YUBA have contributed over 35,000 labor hours to our surrounding trail system. Join us for an adventure this summer.
