The Theme for 2012
This year is an important year for sport (!) so we are having a ‘Sports Day’ theme on Tuesday 29 May alongside the educational programme.
The day will included some dedicated BCS sessions relating to training (from ‘MAMiL’ to elite), sudden cardiac death, exercise in certain cardiac conditions.
There will be an arena in the Exhibition with educational demonstrations relating to exercise and sport during some of the breaks over the 3 days and a chance to help raise money for charity with the cyclathon (see how far we can cycle during the conference!). Pitch yourself against Chris Hoy and see if you can beat him too! Bring your lycra!
Exhibition, Arena and Simulators
We welcome all our Exhibitors and thank them for their continued support of the Conference. Thank you also to those holding Sponsored Symposia. This year the Programme Committee will be providing more education around the stands in terms of case presentations, interpretation data, reading ECGs, how to…..come and test your knowledge and visit a stand too….. We have the arena activities planned within the Exhibition area. Simulators will soon be part of revalidation and training for all of us. This year we have more simulators and a greater variety. We will have some mannequins for you to refine your surgical skills too! Sign up, attend and we will give you a certificate of attendance for your portfolio!
Tea Party!
Its our 90th Birthday, so come and join us for a celebration ‘tea party’ on the Wednesday afternoon, 29 May! No need to bring a present!
