EAD is pleased to announce the introduction of a 433 MHz Wall-Mount version of the WCO (waterproof compact omni) antenna.

Mounted on a right-angled bracket,  the WCO-433-WM is a fully waterproof and robust ISM-band antenna for wall-mounting both outdoors and indoors. Terminated in a N-Female connector, the WCO-433-WM allows for RF cables to be customised to the application.

Other UHF frequencies in the 380-512 MHz band are possible including TETRA and 459 MHz.

The WCO-433-WMB will be commercially launched towards the end of Q2 2012. In the meantime, if you have a specific application please contact us.

EAD is pleased to announce that a GLONASS version of the GPS-Stubby antenna has been released. Currently only available as an evaluation unit, the GLONASS-Stubby is a unique external GLONASS antenna for direct terminal mounting via either a SMA-Male straight or SMA-Male right-angle connector.

EAD is pleased to announce some further enhancements to its WCO (Waterproof Compact Omni) product range. The new model, the WCO-FLY, is a permanent mount compact omni with either a RG174 flying lead terminating in a SMA, MMCX, FME or other common connector or a microcoax flying lead terminating in U.FL or MCF (GSC compatible) connector.

Supporting Pentaband cellular, GSM and 3G frequencies, the WCO-FLY complements the connectorized WCO models which are terminated in N-Male, SMA-Male Straight or Right Angle, TNC-Male for terminal mount applications or N-Female Bulkhead for permanent, panel mount applications.

EAD is pleased to introduce an innovative new antenna for GPS applications. The GPS-Stubby is an active GPS stub antenna designed for mobile terminals requiring an external GPS antenna. Especially in applications where a traditional patch antenna with a cable is unsuitable or where the cable will get in the way, the GPS-Stubby provides a cost-effective and compact alternative.

With effective gain of approx 26 dB thanks to an integrated LNA, the GPS-Stubby operates in compact dimensions of 67mm in height and 18.5mm in diameter. It is housed in a robust sheath and can be supplied with a SMA-Male straight or SMA-Male right angle connector.

EAD has enhanced our new WCO (waterproof compact omni) antenna by improving the RF performance and adding more connector options.

The new Antenna Element is fully groundplane independent so the antenna can be mounted either on metal or non-metal surfaces without impacting performance.

A SMA-Male straight connector is now available for the WCO.

A SMA-Male right angle connector is now available for the WCO.

The WCO provides a compact omni-directional antenna solution to outdoor pentaband (cellular/GSM/3G) applications where a robust, waterproof and UL-rated antenna is required for metering, security, CCTV and telemetry terminals, gateways and routers.
