Yard Sale Finds

I have been running like crazy all day! You ever had one of those days? Actually, one of those weeks?
The day started with Daisy getting new braces. (I remember how they hurt!)
I had lunch with Anna Belle and Lila Mae. (I have lunch with them every Monday – and this being the last Monday before the summer, I hated to miss.)
Daisy had an award ceremony at school tonight. (Can I brag here? She won the “Tiger” Award! It is an award that is voted on by all of the 6th grade teachers to give to one student. A sweet ending to a rough day for her!)
I am busy getting ready for a baby shower at my house on Tuesday! I am having about 30 people for dinner. I am thrilled to be able to do it. The shower is a for a girl who came through our youth group and has been special to us for many years.
I will have plenty of pictures of the shower. It is turning out pretty cute.
So, my post today is short and sweet.
I had a great weekend of yard sale-ing! Only my Lila Mae went with me this weekend. The others were wanting to sleep in. (Lila Mae NEVER wants to sleep in!)
Here are a few of our finds.
I have great plans for them and will show you what I plan on doing with them over the next few weeks!
The table was one of the first finds. It needs a little work, but for $10, I think it has great potential!
The black lazy susan organizer is new. And for only $3!
I am looking for fun ways to store and organize some of our mess! With 3 girls, it seems that I am always trying to hide some of their supplies and basic clutter! This cute tackle box was $3 and the old tool box was $10. I have already found a home for the tool box. I still want to paint it – I think?
And, the old ladder in the background was $3! I have seen some fun ideas with old ladders. Now, I just have to decide what to do with this one!
I actually found several other things that I did not get pictures of. I will try to show more of my treasures later.

I was drawn to that old box full of drawers. The girl said that her dad had used it for his tools. I think I may work on it a little tomorrow.
