About the Competition

Ableton has teamed up with SoundCloud and collaborated with some of our favorite artists for this very special contest. A free Live Pack featuring sounds from atmospheric pop titan M83, indie electronic stars Junior Boys, and LA beatmaker Nosaj Thing is available to all Live users from May 14th through May 28th. Use these loops, stems and presets to create a new, original track.

One catch: you only have 24 hours to create and submit your work.

The countdown starts with your download. Get your creative juices flowing and show us what you can do in just one day. After all entries have been submitted, the SoundCloud community and the artists themselves will choose the best tracks. Prizes include a trip to Berlin, Ableton Suite with free upgrades for life, five years of a SoundCloud Pro Plus account and more.

About the Artists

spacer M83 - Anthony Gonzalez of M83 has been perfecting his luscious blend of sophisticated pop songwriting, shoegaze aesthetics and driving rhythms since 2001. The widescreen scope of his albums and undeniable knack for making the sounds of the 1980s shine with a modern-day freshness make M83 mainstays of the modern pop playlist.

spacer Junior Boys - With their singular synthesis of pop melody, soulful electronics, and seductive rhythms, beautifully combined with delicate vocals, Junior Boys have earned worldwide acclaim and a permanent place on both festival stages and dance floors. Bringing together emotional intimacy with musical intricacy, they have mastered the art of moving bodies while also tugging at heartstrings.

spacer Nosaj Thing - Nosaj Thing is among the new generation of Los Angeles electronic musicians who have their roots in hip-hop but are constantly branching out into new sonic territories. Since his album debut in 2009, Nosaj Thing's low-end bump and kaleidoscopic sound palette has won over thousands of fans and has led to remixes of The xx, Portishead, Flying Lotus and Radiohead.
