Cerro Azul Geisha
spacer
Competition-quality Geisha micro-lot. Perfumed, floral, lightly fruity, mildly citrusy.
Intense jasmine, tea rose, and Concord grape aromatics. In cup, grape jam, dried lemon zest, and sugar cane sweetness. Layered mouthfeel and jasmine tea finish.

This Geisha is part of an experimental lot from the Herrera family, the quality-focused owners of Cerro Azul and Granja La Esperanza in Colombia. This lot was fully washed, sun and machine dried, stored in GrainPro in a temperature and humidity controlled warehouse to rest. We brought in about 50 lbs of this coffee immediately after we tasted it and specifically for competition in the 2012 Brewer's Cup.
