The shoppe is small in size, but true in country “spirit.” As you enter the shoppe, you’re greeted with a smile and the smells of our potpourri and soy candles. We proudly offer handmade wood creations for every season, Hand made dolls, dried floral arrangements and even a few antiques and vintage items, are also available. We’re open the months of June through December. September is our Anniversary and in November, we have our annual Holiday Open House. So instead of the conventional “go to the mall day”, take the drive off the beaten path and discover all we have to offer. You will be glad you did. | |

If you’re just looking for a stroll down memory lane or looking for that perfect find, visit us in the old Independence Creamery building built in 1927. Our shop has something for everyone. We have two floors complete with furniture, glassware, stoneware, tools, and jewelry. For the person who wants to preserve a piece of family history or if the piece you can’t resist needs a little help, we offer complete refinishing and repairing of furniture-old and new. We also offer canning and trunk repair. If you are building new or remodeling we stain and lacquer windows, doors, and trim as well. |

Phoneco has been in business for over 33 yrs. We have a large accumulation of old telephones, parts and related items. The unusual items end up in a room, that we call a museum. Here you will see a Telegraph display, candlestick phone display, (2 of which are connected for visitors to ring and talk on), also 2 wood wall phones connected so one can ring up their old ring number and talk to their neighbor. We have a history of the Galesville switchboard and operator. Many pictures and memorabilia are also on display. Visitors are welcome to browse the plant where we restore the phones. Wood wall phones, payphones, Bakelite’s and more are available to see. If visitors would like a tour; just ask and we will be glad to oblige. |

We enjoy our customers and try to give each of them personal service to ensure their satisfaction. Custom orders are always welcome and available. We pride ourselves on good and friendly service.
