1 June 2012: King Tut’s headline show and British Blues Awards nomination

TICKETS are now available for Dave’s headline show for Glasgow’s No Mean City Festival at King Tut’s on Thursday 6 September. Get your tickets here.

Also, Dave has been nominated in the acoustic category of the British Blues Awards 2012 – voting is now open at the awards’ website where you can show your support for many artists, festivals and media that help keep the blues alive in the UK.

2 May 2012: Tour success..what’s next?!

DAVE had an amazing six-weeks on the road in Europe playing all kinds of shows and festivals….and recording thirteen tracks with the Hellsinki Hellraisers at Sonic Pump in Helsinki.

22 March 2012: Euro tour and news…

THE SPRING Europe tour kicks of tomorrow, Friday 23 March, in Beauvais, France with a couple of shows at the Blues Autour du Zinc Festival.

A bunch of dates in Paris/France follow then Estonia, Finland and back to Estonia – for full show info see the tour page. While Dave’s in Finland he’ll be recording tracks with Juuso Haapasalo and Honey Aaltonen for a new album to be released on a Finnish label later in the year.

2 March 2012: New CD available now!

DAVE’S new album Nobody’s Fool is now available for pre-order in the online shop for delivery in time for the release date (6 March 2012).
Released on Dixiefrog Records in a stunning eight-panel digipak box, the new album features a selection of brand new tracks alongside new recordings of some of Dave’s favourite’s with guest musicians including Juuso Haapasalo and Honey Aaltonen – the Hellsinki Hellraisers – who will guest on a few songs with Dave at the Stompin’ at the Savoy show in Helsinki, Finland next month (April). Order the new album now – and see more info here!

24 February 2012: The beard is going – for charity!

FRIDAY 4 MAY is the day when Dave’s beard will be shaved to help his pal Ben Fraser raise cash for Yorkhill Childrens’ Foundation.
Ben has been undergoing treatment for leukaemia for the last six or seven months and is an inspiration to us all.

6 January 2012: New website, gigs and eNewsletter

YOU’RE looking at Dave’s new website which went live yesterday and was announced this morning on Facebook, Twitter and the January eNewsletter. Read it here…and you can subscribe using the form on the right-hand-sde of this page.

Five minutes after the announcement Dave managed to corrupt and crash the entire site with one click of the mouse and spent the next seven hours trying to rebuild it.

Most of the work has been ‘under the bonnet’ to make it easier for Dave to update content while on the road (…or maybe crash the site again!!!) but there’s some new content and functionality that should make it a better experience for visitors. We’ve also brought Dave’s daily blog into the site…see menu at the top.

Anyway! There’s loads of new gigs on the tour page which have also been announced in the latest eNewsletter along with latest news on Dave’s forthcoming album on Dixiefrog.
