Scholarship Information

A recent review of the TCAA Scholarship Program has resulted in the following changes, effective immediately.

The program that has been in place for several years of providing $500 scholarships to those needing assistance to attend mentoring sessions or workshops has helped many aspiring craftspeople.

Having distributed over $70,000 through that program, the TCAA has decided that a more targeted approach and a more substantial investment in each recipient will better address the urgency of providing educational opportunities to a number of highly motivated craftspeople who have moved beyond group workshops and would benefit from intensive mentoring in areas tailored to their specific needs.

To that end, The Traditional Cowboy Arts Association Announces !!

THE TCAA FELLOWSHIP

The TCAA Fellowship will be awarded annually to a craftsperson who has demonstrated commitment and passion in the pursuit of excellence in one of the four disciplines represented by the TCAA.The award carries a value of up to $12,000, covering travel and tuition for individual mentoring over the course of a year.

The first recipient of the award has been selected and will be announced at the 2012 TCAA exhibition opening at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum on October 13th, 2012.
