Chaffetz introduced bills to RECLAIM some land (albeit a tiny amount ... but hey; it's a good start!). Wondering, of course, if ANY of these federal lands are, by chance, in MN?! Hi , Just got the newsletter from you yesterday, and I am impressed with what your group is doing- way to go! We need help here in MN. as our many lakes and wilderness areas are being threatened by the `greens'. I believe the BLM needs to be defunded, as well as cut backs in authority from our Depts. of Natural Resources and any other duplicating agency. Don Parmeter is hosting Reinventing Environmentalism workshop on April 9th, and I also, like Cindy would like as many stickers as you can spare, as I would like to make buttons, but also put on bumpers to help get the word out. USA-ALL wants folks to know that this recent announcement regarding Wild Lands is just the tip of the iceberg. We expect a full onslaught of anti-access policies and actions in the next 2 years. We are determine to be effective in thwarting as much of this ill advised agenda as possible. With support like we received at this meeting we will be better able to be successful. Later this week representatives from USA-ALL will be traveling to Washington D.C. to make the first of many trips to D.C. to meet with congressional staff and other organizations in an effort to better protect access to public land in Utah. A big, "thanks" to those who have donated to help make this happen.
