About
Howdy, I started Chow Vegan to show how vegan food can be delicious and satisfying. I’ve been a vegan for over ten years and I still get the same old “what do you eat” question. So here’s the answer…enjoy!

Lovely photo too.
Great food blog. Terrific recipes and very nice photos!
Hi! I was wondering if Alison and I over at Mad About Udon could add you to our blog roll, and if perhaps you could add us to yours in return?
Hi could you add me to your blog roll if you find my cooking interesting
your food looks great and very delicious! I wish you could cook for me every day, ehehehh…..congrats!
You just saved a starving college kid’s life.
Hi there,
I found the baked falafel by accident and it looks great, so do the chili fries. I added your feed to my RSS reader (Google Reader) and the pictures don’t show up in the feed. This isn’t a disaster, but it would be nice, so you might want to look into that. Anyway, food looks great, nice work,
Dan
Food is as good as it looks but yours is better. Thank you
Great site with lovely pictures and product reviews. I always want to get a new product but sometimes I hold back because I do not know how it would taste.
Love the clean lines and fresh look of your blog! I’m not vegan but hope to eat more healthily, and I hope your blog will help me! :)
Was linked here from somewhere else, and right now I don’t even remember where, but I cannot believe I didn’t know about your blog sooner – I love it! Gorgeous photos, and lots of recipes that look easy enough to actually try. Great blog!
I’m always looking for good vegan food inspiration since going vegan a year and a half ago.

I notice you have alot of Asian recipes on your blog, was just wondering what your background is…? :)
Hey! This website looks awesome! I’m vegetarian and I ALWAYS get the question, “What do you eat?” I always reply.. Not meat? Admire your love for food and will keep following your recipes!
Looks tasty! Bookmarked.
Just found your blog. I love that you are veganizing some recipes that I have truly missed, eg vegan steamed “egg”, sticky rice, etc.
THANK YOU!
Hey, just happened across your blog. Great reviews, packed with information and I love your photographs. Thanks for sharing. Keep it up.
Thank you for your great recipes. Your blog will be up and running in our kitchen. My husband and I went to a Asian Supermarket Friday and got some cool vegetables that were easy to cook – Pak choi, bitter melon, choi sum. We’re looking forward to going back.
I would really love a great, clear recipe for making seitan if you can share one. I only tried one time so far, and it was OK, but had a slightly strange smell and was very wet and spongy. It seems like, if done right, it can be very meaty and firm.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dave
I am in love with your photos and recipes@ maybe you get this question a lot, but how do you take such fabulous pictures? (other than natural light)
cheers and love your blog!
Dave – I haven’t made seitan all that much myself, but Vegan Dad in my blogroll has some great recipes. There’s also a few seitan recipes in the cookbook Viva Vegan! that I’ve been meaning to try.
Scrumptious Vegan – Thanks! It really is all about the light. Without good light, the photos can turn out with bad color or blurry. I usually don’t bother trying to take a photo if the light isn’t good. It’s harder in the wintertime when there’s less daylight. Hope that helps. :-)
I love your blog! And Trader Joe’s products. And that Ani Phyo cookbook! We have so much in common haha :)
i am not vegan, but i am coming back to your blog regularly. thanks, lovely recipes!
