Book Review and Giveaway: Unbound Birth

spacer

I'm sure most of you know the Jenny from The Southern Institute. Did you know that she's also written an eBook? It's titled "Unbound Birth," and as I was recently pregnant, I knew it would be just the book for me. Jenny and I have become friends through our blogs, and knowing what a smart and sweet person she is made me confident that it would be a good read.

Without going into details, I've had three very different births. One induction in the hospital with an epidural, one home birth (I had planned to have a hospital birth, but Weston had other plans!), and now one unmedicated hospital birth with a midwife.

Jenny's book explores having an unmedicated hospital birth, and many of the facets involved. I have to say it was a very enjoyable book to read, filled with her own experiences, and the experiences of other women.

For me, Unbound Birth helped to remove a lot of the fears I had about labor (I was hoping for a happy medium this go around, with a midwife and unmedicated birth at the hospital). If you or someone you know is pregnant, I highly recommend this book! No matter what your birthing plans are, it's great infomation to help prepare for what's ahead, and help you know what options are available.

You can find Unbound Birth here on Amazon, and also stay up to date on the blog here.

And lucky us, today Jenny is giving away a free copy of her book to one of you! I'm going to give Rafflecopter a try for this giveaway, in hopes it will be user friendly. Let me know what you think!
