Touchstone has been awarded a $50,000 grant by the National Endowment for the Arts through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The only other local organization to be awarded such a grant was the Allentown Art Museum. A total of 630 grants totaling $29,725,000 was given nationally by the NEA. The grants are made to non-profit arts organizations to support the preservation of jobs that are threatened by declines in philanthropic and other support during the current economic downturn.
Nov. 20-21: An Evening at a British Music Hall: Touchstone is delighted to open our space for the 35th Anniversary showing of producer Chris Simmons' evening of songs, monologues and comic sketches from the heyday of British Vaudeville. Tickets ($15) are available at the door, and can be reserved by calling 610-867-1689. Performances are at 8pm on Friday, and at 1pm and 8pm on Saturday. Doors open one hour before curtain.
