Using RSS News Feeds

rss2html.pl in Action

I've added the following cron jobs that run once per hour on the Webreference server (Scheduler is the NT counterpart):

rss2html.pl slashdot.org/slashdot.rdf > slashdot.html rss2html.pl freshmeat.net/backend/fm.rdf > freshmeat.html rss2html.pl www.linuxtoday.com/backend/my-netscape.rdf > linuxtoday.html rss2html.pl www.xml.com/xml/news.rdf > xmlnews.html rss2html.pl www.perlxml.com/rdf/moperl.rdf > mop.html

The commands above fetch the RSS files off the Web and convert them to HTML. Using Server-Side Includes (SSI), I've included the results below:
