The LinuxDays event 2012 is about to start and we give you the latest news items! The event starts in a few days and we'd like to round up all the latest news about the conference. First of all, we did a number of video and text interviews with speakers and during the conference we'll provide live video streaming! We also announced the sponsors of the conferenc, as well as two Future Media Round Table discussions and the party locations. The LinuxDays event 2012 in Prague will have a great line-up of speakers and subjects! The event, slated to take place from October 20-23 of this year, will bring talks from the four teams organizing the event in one place. The local Czech LinuxDays event, the first Gentoo miniconf, the SUSE Labs and of course the openSUSE conference together will create one smashingly cool event - and on top of that, the 'Future Media' feature track will bring some deeper insights in the influences of developments in technology, social media and design on our society. The openSUSE Conference 2012 will be held in Prague, the beautiful capital of the Czech republic, starting October 20 and ending October 23. Our website is ready and our CfP committee is ready to accept talk proposals! This years openSUSE Conference theme is Bootstrapping awesome!. The openSUSE conference will be joined by no less than three other events: the local LinuxDays, the largest Czech Free Software event; the first Gentoo Miniconf; and the 14th SUSE Labs conference. About The openSUSE Conference

The openSUSE Conference brings together a wide variety of Open Source contributors to collaborate on one of the major Linux distribution projects. In four exciting days of workshops and social happenings we bring alive the openSUSE slogan "Have a lot of fun".

This year, the openSUSE conference co-locates with the Czech LinuxDays event, the SUSE Labs and a Gentoo minisummit. The openSUSE Conference takes place from October 20-23 whereby we will overlap with LinuxDays on Saturday and Sunday (20 and 21).
