Email Setup
Stay in touch the entire business day with WSJ.com’s timely business and financial news updates delivered directly to your desktop. Several email options are free, while others are reserved exclusively for WSJ.com subscribers.
To participate, you must first register your email address at the Email Center and select a delivery format. Links to the Email Center are located on the bottom of every WSJ.com page.
Please note: If you currently use any email spam blocker software, you will need to be sure to add the interactive.wsj.com domain to your list of accepted correspondence or your WSJ.com alerts will not be delivered to your inbox.
My Online Journal Email
Subscribers to WSJ.com can now receive personalized emails on specific companies, industry news, topics, columns and/or print newspaper features. These customized emails are sent directly to a subscriber’s email address in HTML format up to three times daily.
To register for the customized My Online Journal email, click on the Email Setup link at the bottom of every WSJ.com page. Subscribers can import their personalized My Online Journal page selections to the My Online Journal Email. My Online Journal Email will allow a maximum of 10 entries for each category.
The Show option means the heading will be displayed in the customized email. If you chose not to personalize one of the email options, you may select Hide so that the heading is not displayed in your email. Remember to click on the Save Selections link so that your choices are saved.
Changes to My Online Journal Email are made through the My Online Journal Email Setup. The setup page also includes a removal option if you’d like to be removed from an email list. To change an email address, click on the Email Center link, located at the bottom of every WSJ.com page.
Free WSJ.com Emails
U.S. Markets, Europe Morning and Technology email updates are available to both subscribers and non-subscribers to WSJ.com. Keep abreast of the markets and in step with technology news by signing up to receive any of these offerings. To register, click on the “Email Center” at the bottom of every WSJ.com page.
Register for Journal Perks if you wish to receive exclusive, special offers sent by WSJ.com on behalf of select advertisers. You can also register to receive newsletters from free sections of WSJ.com including: CareerJournal, OpinionJournal, RealEstateJournal and Small Business.
Exclusive Subscriber-Only Email
Another benefit of subscribing to WSJ.com is the availability of certain email alerts and new feature updates offered exclusively to online subscribers. To register, click on the “Email Center” at the bottom of every WSJ.com page.
WSJ.com alerts are divided into three major categories: Breaking News, Columns and Newsletters. You can view a sample of any of the alerts by clicking on the name in the Email Center.
• Breaking News alerts are delivered directly to your inbox so you’ll be the first to know about major developing events in major world and business News, financial Markets and the Technology sector.
• Select from the Columns choices if you’d like the convenience of having your favorite column emailed directly to your mailbox.
• Choose from the Newsletters offerings to receive a comprehensive collection of the day’s or week’s news including informative early and late Afternoon Reports, comprehensive Technology Updates, Midday and Closing U.S. Markets Updates as well as a European Morning Update and European Markets summary.

Here are some common issues and remedies you might consider before contacting Customer Service:
• If you have signed up to receive an email offering and are not receiving it, please visit the Email Center to make sure your email address has been entered correctly. If all appears to be in order, there may be a filter or firewall issue or another problem that’s interrupting the delivery of the alerts. Contact WSJ.com Customer Service Department for further assistance.
• If you are consistently receiving multiple emails on the same topic to a single email address, please check to make sure you have not registered a duplicate subscription to WSJ.com. To check your account status, click on the “My Account/Billing” link at the bottom of any WSJ.com page. If all appears to be in order, please contact WSJ.com’s Customer Service Department for personal assistance.
