Anchored in the Bihar district of Muzaffarpur,Nav Pragatisheel  Mahila Vikas Sansthan , a non-governmental organization set up in 2003 has catalyzed remarkable changes in the lives countless people particularly women, who had none to turn to for critical support. Established with the express purpose of addressing the education and health care needs of the underprivileged, Nav Pragatisheel  Mahila Vikas  Sansthan has not only fortified the primary needs of its target groups but has also unlocked the enterprise of the rural people.

The active involvement of board members as well as general member in the implementation of the programs has further contributed to the development of the organization. However, inability to fully mobilize the Potential of many other members has been seen as a weakness of the organization.
