A "standard flogger" is a many-tailed whip with a solid handle. The tails are made from strips of material. There are many many types of materials used for floggers, but most of the ones I have listed are of leather origin, from rabbit to bullhide and many more and rubber, of varying thicknesses. Generally speaking, the thinner the material is, the more it will sting. Thicker, wider, or heavier materials produce less sting, but the loss in sting is offset by a greater chance to bruise. The thud of a heavy flogger is usually easier to cope with than the stinging sensation of the lighter ones.
Leather and Toy Care ......Its recommend you use a quality leather conditioner on leather flogger handles, like Pecard's Dressing, or similar product. Neat's Foot Oil, can damage and discolor leather! If the handle gets dirty, lightly wash it with a soft damp cloth and a tad of gentle soap. Do not immerse or soak leather, ever! The Boutonnire is another interesting braid, this time a six lace double flatbraid, cut from heavy 3oz - 4oz, chrome tanned cowhide, which presents an elliptical profile in cross section. Based on an actual disciplina in current use among nuns in Mexico, but upgraded from sisal twine to a nice heavy manila rope, the Carmelita is one toy that will defintely motivate you to improve your slatternly behaviour and to at least try and drag your mind out of the gutter. The Cascade tails are made of two overlapping tiers of long loops of light garment cowhide. The sting that a flogger like this would normally have is significantly diminished by the fact of its having no tips. On the mixed-color floggers, approximately half of the lashes are either purple or red. AN INTERESTING NOTE: The floggers with colored tails are nestled inside the bulk of the black tails, so that they make a daring flash of color when the flogger is swung (kind of like a fancy pom-pom). These floggers are quite stingy for those tender places. They are actually pretty versatile; they make a great gift, look good hanging from a belt, and will simultanteously thrill and intimidate a nervous vanilla boyfriend. What you may not guess though, is that they are aso excellent little toys for flogging those sensitive areas we all know and love, and will get them swelling proudly with anticipation in next to no time.
