So we left our equipment under a tarpaulin side stage and had to leave through the main exits along with 100,000 other people flooding into the streets of Chicago. It was like lollageddon!
Learning to surf with TV On The Radio in Australia last year when I was on tour with Bright Eyes was pretty incredible. But I’ve gotta say the one moment that was truly the craziest happened on our most recent tour.
We did a show with Company of Thieves in Albany last year and my keyboard stand broke in half right as were were getting on stage. It was a completely packed show and one of the few times I can remember panicking at a gig.
Some of the things we do are so damn irresponsible we try not to glamourise them.
