The Reagan Ranch
Ronald Reagan said of his beloved Santa Barbara, California ranch, “No place before or since has ever given Nancy and me the joy and serenity it does.” President Reagan’s Rancho del Cielo, his home for nearly twenty-five years and the Western White House for eight, is a window into the soul of Ronald Reagan. But what if the Reagan Ranch had been lost? Future generations would have been robbed of the chance to visit the Ranch and “meet” the real Ronald Reagan.
That’s why Young America’s Foundation is preserving and protecting the Reagan Ranch and using this historic presidential property to pass on to our children and grandchildren the ideas and lasting accomplishments of this great leader.
A visit to the Reagan Ranch dramatically deepens a young person’s understanding of our 40th president. Young America’s Foundation is committed to utilizing the Reagan Ranch, along with the Reagan Ranch Center in downtown Santa Barbara, as a campus to teach young people about individual freedom, a strong national defense, free enterprise, and traditional values.
