We wanted to see a world in which science was mashed up... with anything. Science can benefit everyone, but it needed the support of the tech community to make it happen. They have done so in extraordinary fashion by creating applications on top of the Mendeley API. The entries were so impressive, that we couldn't decide on just 10 finalists, so have made it 10+1.
