Events Survey

Travel Michigan is the official State of Michigan travel/tourism office. Our website is visited by millions of potential visitors each year.

If you are sponsoring a tourism-related event in your community, we invite you to add it to our database of Michigan events.

To submit your event, please complete and submit our Event Survey form at the link at the bottom of this page. Please be sure that your event information is complete and accurate and that it fully meets the Criteria for Inclusion set by Travel Michigan. Travel Michigan will review and edit all event information, and limit listings to those events that best fit the criteria. Travel Michigan retains the sole discretion as to whether an event qualifies for the database and posting to our website. Once submitted, your event must be approved by Travel Michigan staff prior to appearing live on the website.

Criteria for Inclusion:

• Event must have firm beginning and ending date(s) with no more than 12 months between beginning and ending date.

• Event must be open to the general public, whether free or with admission charge. No day or summer camps. No events that are open to the camper only. No workshops with apre-registration. No scrapbooking events.

• Event must be of general interest to the traveling public. Events such as sidewalk sales, lectures,movie showings, garage sales (individual), fundraisers, benefits, school bazaars, etc. are NOT considered tourism-related events and will NOT be placed into the Travel Michigan database.

• Event data must include the name/title of the event, specific location of the event, a brief description of the event and a phone number(s) for the public to call for more event information.

• Travel Michigan needs a contact person name/phone number/email address for the event.

• You may also supply awebsite URL for more information on this event.
