Went here for a mid-day lunch. Was amazed at the speed of service! We were served very quickly.
I found the food lacking a bit in overall appeal--I didn't feel like any of the dishes I ate bits of were exciting. The bento box was also huge! (that's a good aspect).
Reasonably priced though and a nice, airy interior; I'll likely be back.

Definitely a fun place to stop with friends and get some more complicated mac & cheese dishes. I found it a little overpriced, but the whole dynamic of the store is fun (if a little crowded, typically).
I think they could do a lot better with a bit more food and faster service, but my dish was delicious and it is a very fun place.

Momofuku Noodle Bar

I had a good time at Momofuku and came early enough (around 5:45pm) to not have to wait at all, though I was by myself and the restaurant was already busy. Waitresses
seemed distracted but service was good.
I got the Momofuku Ramen. The noodles were just about perfect in my opinion--(I prefer slightly thicker noodles) perfectly cooked, delightfully chewy. The broth was notably egg-ey but also very good (not too salty), and I had a great time watching the cooks put it all together from the bar.
By the time I left it was super busy, with many people waiting outside. Prepare to wait.
I likely won't return as it's pricey for my student budget, but it was a great bowl of ramen.

Wow, I'm not quite sure why this place has so many negative reviews (although I have never been to the original, granted).
We had a group of 7 seated immediately around 6:30pm. Ordering was easy and the waiter and waitress assigned to our table were fine--no hassles, but not very friendly or helpful. The pizzas came out faster than expected and were EXCELLENT! The cheese was just divine.
It was noisy inside and the decor feels very cheesy, however. And at the end of our meal we were hassled a bit by a man who might have been the manager--he stopped us just as we were in a rush to leave.

It's exactly what you expect--pretty good hot dogs, and a true Coney Island experience. But it's tourist-ey and service is like fast food.
I highly recommend the corn dogs actually--unlike most corn dogs where the hot dog within is soggy, their hot dogs inside are perfectly cooked and the corning is excellent.

I wanted to get dinner with a friend as he passed through Grand Central, and this was perfect. We had very fast, nice service and the chicken quesadilla I had was very good! My complains are that, as a location, it's not very good looking and is quite noisy. And the portions were small for the price.
Recommended if you have to do exactly what I did--a quick dinner in Grand Central.

I had one of the nicest retail experiences ever at Billy Reid. Greeted by smiles when I walked inside, allowed to wander without hovering or judging glances (I was in beat-up jeans and a T-shirt), and was offered LEMONADE! (which totally made my day, as I was thirsty and grumpy).
The staff were very friendly, helpful, approachable, and incredibly good-looking. The interior has strong southern homestead vibes.
Things are pricey, yes, but I'd say worth it for the quality of clothing and quality of customer service.

While my food was fairly good--though some of the vegetables in the vegetable couscous were a bit undercooked (but the couscous was fantastically made, in my opinion)--the service I had was disappointing. The waitress seemed reluctant to seat us and we had to get up and find her to get the check.

I came here with a coupon they were giving out at the Astor place subway stop. Even without coupon, relatively inexpensive (though, expensive for a hot dog I guess).
Friendly staff with very courteous japanese service (they hand you your credit card back to you with both hands, note). I had the Love Meat dog and plain shaked fries. The fries were regular french fries, nothing of note, hopefully better in a special flavor.
The dog was great! The actual hot dog itself was a little undercooked, but I loved the bun and cheese and meat on top. Nice place to grab a bite between things, I'd imagine.
I'll be back sometime to try another flavor I suspect.
