Four IU Faculty Awarded Information Fluency Grants
04/02/2012Indiana University Libraries, The College of Arts & Sciences, and the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2012 Information Fluency grants. Four IU faculty members were each awarded $1500 to support redesigning their courses with a focus on information fluency. The grants offer faculty the opportunity to create and reenergize courses that teach students how to do scholarly research.
This year’s winners are:
- Keith Dayton (Kelley School of Business) X220: Strategic Business Career Planning
- David Kehoe (Biology) L211: Molecular Biology
- Mary Embry (Apparel Merchandising & Interior Design) R404: International Textiles and Apparel Trade
- Marla Sandys (Criminal Justice) P290: The Nature of Inquiry
