Much like the other location on 8th, which is now closed, Al Amir will do in a pinch. The place is definitely a dive, which isn't necessarily bad, but just keep that in mind. There are a hand full of tables to sit at and the atmosphere does very little to make you want to stay.
They don't have the best gyro in town but if you're craving one, it will definitely do. The lamb meat is pretty good but the rest of the gyro is rather lack luster. I think the fries are pretty good though, and oh my goodness do you get a lot. The fries is easily my favorite part of my meal.
Even though the food isn't the best around, $6 for a gyro & fries, it's definitely a solid choice for a quick lunch.

The place isn't bad but it isn't great either. I've had the Gyro, Falafel, Beef Kabob & Gyro Burger, all on separate occasions. The food isn't bad but I have definitely had better else where. As weird as this sounds the best food I've had there is probably the Gyro Burger & Fries. WIth the taste of the food aside, the amount you get for the price is actually pretty good. The people that work there are always friendly and great. It's definitely worth a try but if it weren't so close to my work, I probably wouldn't go.

I stopped by with a few friends after work during their first week open. We honestly had NO CLUE what to expect when we first walked in.
As we walked in, we were smacked in the face with a fun, intimate, casual vibe with some Johnny Cash as backup. It was definitely a great first impression.
We all tried various tacos and there was not one gripe about any of them. Some people will probably think it's overpriced. If you're like me and compare the price of food to the quality of it and not the quantity or size, it's definitely worth it. Much like most of the restaurants in OTR.
With Bakersfield also being a Whiskey & Tequila bar, I honestly feel bad for not trying Whiskey. I will say they have a great variety of beers to choose from and their Margarita's are choice. The only thing I don't really understand is the boot of beer. I'm sorry, but when I think of a boot of beer, I think of a gigantic boot of beer. It was just a normal mug that happened to be in the shape of a boot.
The service was quick, friendly and simply put, amazing. It was their first week open so I'll probably update this review in a few months to see how their service stands after all of the excitement wears off.
I'm really hoping all of the excitement stays because it really is a great place.

I honestly used to hate going to the doctor. It's not like I find great pleasure in getting sick and going to the doctor now, but at least I don't dread it anymore. The ENTIRE staff is great. Starting from the great front desk staff, to the medical assistants that take you back, and of course, the doctors. I've seen 2 doctors (dr. Messer & dr. Sheridan) but I've met them all, and every single one is great.
What makes this office great is the fact that the entire staff take the time to really get to know you.

I've been a big fan of Senate since the beginning. Gourmet street food? I love street food. I love gourmet. How can I go wrong???
There is seriously not a bad decision on the menu. I've gone anywhere from their hamburger, Lobster BLT Sandwich to their Putine and their Hotdogs. Every single dish I've had is delicious. I will say, nothing on their menu compares to their hotdogs. They've nailed the gourmet hotdog. End of story.
People say it's too expensive for a hotdog or burger. If you compare price to flavor & quality instead of what type of food you get. It's a bargain in my opinion.

I was upset when I first heard that we were losing Bootsy's. I was honestly a fan of that place. But this is a decent replacement. The food here is pretty good but I think I liked Bootsy's better. I will say though, this place is much better for lunch than it is for dinner or happy hour in my opinion. It could just be that I don't vibe with the after work crowd that this place attracts. But if you do plan to go here after work, I would say just stick with the drinks.

This is probably the best Lowe's location I've been to. Much like most Lowe's, it's clean and the staff is very helpful. If you have any question, they will gladly help you out as much as they can. I'm always greeted and asked for help whenever I'm there.

This is pretty good for a Chinese buffet. Keep in mind, I said buffet. It would be unfair to compare this to a nice sit down Chinese restaurant or even Chinese takeout. They are all in their own little leagues.
It used to be a lot better however a couple years ago. A couple year ago I would have given this place 4 stars. Oddly enough, the great thing about this place is the ice cream. Unlike most buffets that have the typical soft serve, this place actually serves Blue Bunny Ice Cream. The food it self is at the very least on par. It's definitely much better than most buffets, but still not the best I've had at a buffet.
Despite my 3-star rating, this is probably my favorite Chinese buffet in Cincinnati.

Yes, I'm a fan of Starbucks. Judge all you want, I don't care. I'm not here to explain why I love Starbucks, I Just wanted to throw that out there, that yes, I am a fan of Starbucks.
That being said, I LOVE Tazza Mia. As bad as it sounds, I've never been a huge fan of local coffee shops. Not all of them are great and it's a huge gamble going to a new one. Not Tazza though. Their coffee is just simply amazing. No matter if you get drip coffee, Espresso, Iced Coffee or even a Frozen drink. It's all good. They even have numerous ways to brew regular coffee. They are truly coffee connoisseurs here.
Their food on the other hand, I'm not a huge fan of. I'll eat here but I would much rather go someplace else for what they offer. Which is why I can only give this place 4 stars. If they step up their food game, 5 stars. Hands down.
