Aving has picked up this interesting Flexible OLED, also known as FOLED at the Next Generation Computing Show 2006 in Korea. This was apparently presented by the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), and they showcased a variety of situations where the FOLED would come in handy. Not only do you get to wear these displays on yoru body, they can also be used as signboards and as a input device. No idea on when FOLED will be available on a large scale, but knowing that such technology is available makes us tech lovers sleep a little better at night.
