Wasteland Taps Andrea Mata as Biz Dev Director
BOSTON/LOS ANGELES—Wasteland’s affiliate program SpiceCash is continuing its recent forward momentum with the announcement that Andrea Mata has been tapped as its new Director of Business Development.
SpiceCash.com has been delivering world-class BDSM erotica, Asian erotica and women’s erotica through a variety of specialty pay sites since 1996. Known for its sales-friendly, high-art approach to BDSM, fetish and niche content and an arsenal of cutting-edge affiliate marketing tools, the award-winning program boasts sites with longer than average member retention.
In an announcement issued Thursday, the company said that Mata, who was formerly the marketing manager for Stockroom.com, has niche-specific experience in the adult industry, including marketing strategies and relationship management, that aligns perfectly with SpiceCash. Mata will focus on creating strong new affiliate relationships, maximizing affiliate revenues, increasing market share and brand relevance.
We are delighted to bring Andrea on to the Wasteland crew,” said Wasteland founder Colin Rowntree. “Our experience with her when she was at Stockroom was that she is a real go-getter with excellent business and work ethics. When Andrea says something is going to get done, it always gets done. That, and her vast network of connections within both the adult industry, and specifically, within the BDSM, alternative sexuality and women’s erotica niches, not makes Andrea a fantastic addition to Wasteland and SpiceCash, but also brings top notch marketing services to our affiliates and B2B partners”
“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to be a part of a team that has been providing quality, original content to this industry for nearly two decades,” said Mata. “I’ve been a fan since I had the occasion to work with Colin when I was with Stockroom, and I’m looking forward to leveraging my experience for the legacy of Wasteland.
