About Mike/Moogle
Posted by Mike Bijon December 13, 2005
My name, Mike, was mutated to Moogle when a friend decided I’m permanently “plugged in to Google or something” because of the volume and randomness of facts & info I use in casual conversation. The nickname stuck and, since moogle(dot)com was taken, welcome to Mike Bijon’s personal site, Moogle1.
Moogle1 is focused on commentary and original content on search- and online software-related topics by Mike Bijon. Rather than “me too” posting on the meme-of-the-day, I editorialize only when I’m able to add something to a meme or to take and support a viewpoint that hasn’t already been trampled by every other blogger out there. Original content focuses on suggestions for functionality in new or existing software and an occasional math-heavy analysis of a market or algorithm.
Working in various development, research, and management positions, I don’t often have “real” conversations (meetings aren’t conversations), so satire and a bounty of dry technicality may result.
Email me: “myname”@gmail.com. My name is mikebijon.
