I am writing a Capp Stone Research paper for a Bachelor Degree Program. I am majoring in Business Management. I am in the beginning stages of my research and have selected the following topic: Deceptive Advertising and its impact on a company’s reputation. I would like to know if this is a good topic and what would be good sub-topics within the paper.

    Thank you, Vivian

The main goal of a business proposal is to offer another company to establish a business agreement. Business proposals fall into two categories: invited and non-invited. An invited proposal assumes that one company, which is interested in purchasing goods from private suppliers posts public tenders, which invite contractors to bid. In a non-invited proposal, the author presupposes that their product or service would be of use and benefit to another company. Thus, you can make a proposal to that company suggesting that you provide it with your services or products in exchange for funding or other consideration.

A business plan is a long term plan that gives a detailed description of how you are going to run your business. It includes goals for your company, describes a structure of your business and lists your services. A business plan also delineates marketing strategies and contains complete budget plans. You can learn more on how to properly write a business plan from our guide.

The usage of in-text quotations depends on a style of formatting, such as MLA, APA, Turabian, Chicago. If you specify the formatting style which you are using, I could give you a more detailed answer. You can also visit the website citationmachine.net, which may help you cite the information properly.

    Hello,
My name is Dina .I have such a hard time witj writting.I have great ideas when it come time for me to write any topics that is given to the only problem i run into is that I don’t know how to focus on just one thing on each of my paragraphn. Well, if you don’t know how to concentrate on just one thing in each of your paragraphs, there is one trick that might help you. Decide how many paragraphs your essay will approximately contain. Than imagine, that each paragraph is a little composition with its own topic, so that you have to develop this topic in just four-five sentences. It’s like tweets in Twitter, but with a number of words limited (let us say, 150 words for each paragraph), instead of character limit. You should remember that your essay still has one general topic, so your paragraphs’ content must correspond with it. For instance, if your topic is “Authoritarian political regimes in the modern world”, your essay might consist of such paragraphs: 1) definition and significant features of authoritarianism; 2) historical examples of authoritarian political regimes; 3) modern states that are considered to be authoritarian; 4) ways of overcoming authoritarianism; 5) conclusion.

Is is a good idea to write a story of combination of both narrative and expository writing?

Yes, this is a good idea, at least until you can keep your ‘expository’ part
of the story scientific. Don’t forget, that an expository essay is a type of
academic writing, which assumes examining or analyzing something, and the
main objective of a narrative essay is to tell a story. Though, no one forbids
to represent the material of your ‘expository’ part in an interesting, original
      manner.

I’m a student of A’levels and one of my subject is English Language and Literature.
My problem is I can not meet the word limit of my essays, which is 900-1100 words. I’m so used to of writing essays up to 650 words that now my essay does not go beyond it. I have tried making a plan and following all the rules but it still does not help. Please tell me what to do.

      1. You may find useful to replace single words by phrases. For instance,
try writing: ‘as soon as’ instead of ‘immediately’; ‘one should understand
that’ or ‘it is obvious that’ instead of ‘obviously’ or ‘clearly’ and so on.
Use transition words (‘at first’, ‘then’, ‘while’, ‘at last, ‘finally’) and words
like ‘actually’, ‘basically’, ‘I think that’, ‘to my mind’, ‘really’.
      2. Use synonyms and comparisons. Search for words that would complement
those which are already used. Expand on what you are writing. Don’t just make
a statement – circumstance it. For example, compare these two sentences: ‘His
speech was illegible’, and: ‘His speech was illegible, crabbed, like if he had a
      mouthful of pebbles’.
      3. Try not to worry too much about the word limit. The more you think of it,
the less you concentrate on what you are writing. Write a backbone of your
essay, and then fill it with details, depictions and examples. Don’t try to write
      everything at once.

My daughter 25 years has been taking a master of Philosophy and has been trying to write her thesis for the last two years. Her topic is Epistemology – kind of critiquing Bbenard Longerga,s theory of Knowledge. Lonergan is the Author of a master piece “The Insight” The university lectures are not experts on Lonergan’s approach and they argue that he is a Christian writer but no a philosopher. My daughter has been discouraged by this and the fact that she is being constantly reminded that women cannot do philosophy. I just learned from her last week that she got so discouraged that she tore her theses and deleted everything she has done. Is there a way she can be helped to pursue her interest inLlonergans theory on knowing? please advise.

Since she took her undergraduate and focused on Lonergan, she wants to continue.

Bernard Lonergan can be called a Christian philosopher. He researched
topics, which refer exactly to what philosophy studies – cognition, perception,
experience, implication – using a generalized empirical method and basing on
      theology postulates.

Your daughter might also be encouraged by the fact that there were lots of
women, who actually did philosophy. For instance, Hanna Arendt, Rose
      Luxemburg or Ayn Rand.

Almost any dish has its own history, so you might begin your essay with a
description of this salad’s origins. Also you could write its appearance and taste
and notify, in which cases this salad is served (for example, potlucks, barbeques
      and so on).

To begin with, find some information about that school, and figure out what are its mission, values and principles. Then try to fit them into your own system of values in your statement of purpose. It would be useful to point out some reasons why you’ve chosen this particular school, noticing its advantages among many others. You can also think of the ways how your future profession might be connected with your choice of this educational institution. For example, if you plan to associate your life with helping people who have communication disorders and want to develop appropriate skills, you could highlight this submission in your statement of purpose.

I tried to analyze a poem but its hard can you analyze for me this poem:

I’ve returned here for many a reason
I’ll certainly live here for many a season
Like thousands of others I hear its heartbeat
My heart opens up when I am in the mountains
Where I can be alone with my thoughts

I’ve returned here to be in the deserts
I love to hear the sound made by sand dunes
I am one of those who perceive the rhythm
Of a landscape as recorded in many paintings
I am one of thousands who know I am finally home

I’ve indeed returned here for many a season
This is my God-given beautiful country
That very mountain over there and across
The deserts sandwiching my African land
Even though I don’t own anything, it’s my land too.

    Hello

I have to write an expository essay on whether building memorials to honor people who have passed away helps people deal with loss or if it gets in the way of the grieving process. If i picked it helps people deal with loss then how could i start my first paragraph.

Either way you should start from a general point. Try researching where the roots of the tradition to build memorials come from, what this symbolized and how this tradition evolved over the years, and move to the question of whether this is helpful or not

There are a lot of options for either of these two themes. Of the top of my head, first theme can be narrowed down to something like “Literacy and Education: a Comparative Analysis”, or “Primary Education and Literacy in the United States: Current trends and Statistics”, or “Classroom Schedule to Support Comprehensive Balanced Literacy”, or “Developing Cognitive Literacy for Preschool Children”, or “Literacy Strategies in the Classroom” etc.etc.
