Cartoonists on the Mohammed Cartoon Controversy

As the long-simmering protest over depictions of the Prophet Mohammed by a dozen Danish cartoonists boiled over into violence and death last week, the western media grappled over what position to take, and whether to reprint the offending cartoons. Several cartoonists wrote about the situation, even as it spiraled out of control:
