Tom Rathkamp uses DITA everyday and will demonstrate how he creates topics, builds books and overcomes challenges producing output. He will show how he works with raw DITA, a DITA-enabled tool and share comments on working with the DITA Open Tool Kit.
About Tom Rathkamp
Tom Rathkamp is a Technical Writer for Connecture, Inc. He has been a Technical Writer for over 24 years, in a variety of industries that includes service, medical, industrial controls, and banking. Tom has used a variety of tools, including Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp, Oxygen XML, and others. In addition to writing and content authoring, he enjoys the technical aspects of his job, and that’s why he likes working with DITA. On the personal side, Tom is married with two children, and enjoys reading and baseball writing in his withering spare time.
