Greening TVET for Sustainable Development
This moderator-driven discussion is organized by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO-UNEVOC International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training on the UNEVOC e-Forum. The discussion seeks to explore the concept of greening TVET and gather feedback and experiences on this issue from the international TVET community. The input from participants will be synthesized and summarized into a final synthesis report, which will provide directions for future research and programme work in this field.

Second Meeting of High-level Panel on Post-2015 Development Agenda
The UN High-level Panel of Eminent Persons on the post-2015 development agenda (HLP) will hold its second meeting, with a focus on the issue of household poverty. It will be preceded by a global online consultation on human development, and jobs and livelihoods.

First International Off-Grid Renewable Energy Conference
Organized by the Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), the conference will bring together key stakeholders to discuss the current status of rural electrification in Africa and other developing countries, highlight bottlenecks to scaling-up off-grid technology and share knowledge on innovative financing of off-grid technology as well as key policies and instruments globally. The event is organized as an official contribution to the UN Sustainable Energy for All Initiative.
