Hanno Leichtmann (Static) | alphaville dj set
Hanno began buying records at the age of 13. Since then he has become a passionate listener and collector of soundtracks. Over the years he has beach-combed a nice collection of soundtracks on vinyl. His soundtrack-only dj sets are beyond style – funky, sad, nice, romantic, annoying, beautiful, groovy. The sets are named alphaville – after Jean Luc Godard’s classic future crime movie. With sun ra, herbie hancock, ennio morricone, ry cooder, marvin gaye, popul vuh, nino rota, frank zappa, john carpenter, serge gainsbourg and others.

Thomas Bücker | Filmscore-/ambient-dj set
Thomas Bücker, also known for his “imaginary film score” project “Bersarin Quartett” will perform an ambient- and film-DJ-set, specially developed for the MMiFF. Between fragile soundscapes, dark drone surfaces and electronic minimalism, associations will emerge through the subtly arranged film quotes, not only with the great moments of film history but also with abstract images and imaginary films.

Jean-Marie Dhur (Fog Puma) | dj set
Softly the sound rises before the first shining mist in moonlight. From the ground leaped up a jet of echo. From the mist, out of the fog it leaped, higher than the clouds, shining in light. Where the body of euphony lies on the body of dischord, there the music rises. This is the pool of the silent dancer, the soft walker, the dweller in the house of dream.
