CNS and VCDNP Experts Provide Insights on 2012 IAEA General ConferenceIn the lead up to the 2012 General Conference, CNS and VCDNP have prepared a series of Fact Sheets on the on-going issues facing IAEA member states.

Posted: September 12, 2012 On September 17-21, 2012, representatives of International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) member states will gather in Vienna, Austria, for the Agency's 56th General Conference (GC). Their deliberations may touch on a number of controversial issues including: capabilities related to Israel's unacknowledged nuclear weapons program; global safety and security standards at nuclear facilities; and the Agency's verification activities. Experts at the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (CNS) and the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP) have created a series of Fact Sheets on a number of these key issues.
