In recent years, Florida State University College of Law's faculty have earned national acclaim for their contributions to legal scholarship and the profession. A 2012 update of Leiter's Law School Rankings rates our faculty the nation's 33rd best in terms of per capita scholarly impact.

Our faculty scholarship is notable for its quality and impact as well as its quantity. Faculty articles appear in prestigious law journals, including Harvard Law Review, Yale Law Journal, Stanford Law Review, Michigan Law Review, Virginia Law Review, University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and Journal of Legal Studies.

Our faculty takes particular pride in teaching excellence and accessibility to students. Outside of the classroom they are committed mentors, frequently working with students on projects including articles or scholarly publications and advocacy competitions.
