We invite you to join us for the 2013 Connexions Conference at Rice University in Houston, TX. Every year, the Connexions Conference brings together leading policy, academic, and technology experts to discuss the future of Open Education Resources (OER) as well as the technologies that are making this future a possibility.
2012 has been a watershed year for OER and we were excited to be part of the revolution that will continue into 2013. The theme of this year's conference is User Centric Innovation. The personalization of content and learning pathways is expanding rapidly. During the meeting we'll showcase the major advances to the CNX platform to allow for customization, we'll explore new CNX templates, and we'll consider the impact of open resources for institutions as well as MOOCs. Finally, we'll consider the growing ecosystem of support for OpenStax College. With over $1 Million in student savings already, OpenStax College's first two books are changing the way students access high-quailty OER.
At this year's Connexions Conference, April 22-25, 2013, we invite you to join us as together we further accelerate the progress of the OER community and unveil exciting new digital publishing technologies.
