U.S. Institute of Peace grant will fund international forgiveness workshop, lecture at IUPUI
(December 18) The Director of International Partnerships at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis will use a $2,000 grant from the Public Education for Peacebuilding Support initiative of the United States Institute of Peace to explore a novel approach to achieving peace and reconciliation on the global stage.

IUPUI International Student Enrollment Up 10 Percent
(September 6) Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis has enrolled a record 1,602 international students, up 10 percent from last year. Nearly two-thirds of the international students are from China, India or Saudi Arabia.

Leymah Gbowee's Lecture now online
Leymah Gbowee's lecture on women, peace, and reconciliation in West Africa that took place on February 16 is now archived and available at www.indiana.edu/~video/stream/launchflash.html?folder=vic&filename=gbowee_presentation_20120216.mp4.
Gbowee, founder of the Liberian Mass Action for Peace, along with Liberian President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf and Yemeni activist Tawakkol Karman, were the joint recipients of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize.
