How do I create a listing for my business?

This listing will allow you to edit your location marker, add information like store hours, upload photos, and more!

I have made one business listing, how do I add another business listing or location?

Sign in to your MapQuest Business Listings account and click on the button that states “add or claim listing” you will be directed to a page where you can begin to share your information for your additional business or location.

How do I log into my account?

Please visit MapQuest Business Listings where you will be asked to sign in using your email and a password that you have created.

My password attempts have failed, how do I get a new password?

On the MapQuest Business Listings sign in page, there is a question that states “Forgot your password?” click on this link, enter your email address associated with your business listing, and then click Reset password. Once you have chosen to reset your password, check your email and Sign in with your new password.

Where do I find confirmation of my user account?

Please check your email inbox, and your junk or spam folders, the confirmation will be sent to the email you have entered in as your user account. If you are still unable to find your confirmation, please try another email address for your account, and should you still encounter trouble please contact: lbcsupport@mapquest.com.

What are the benefits of upgrading my account?

• Within 24 hours, your business will be listed on Yahoo!, Yelp, Citysearch, MapQuest, Superpages, Yellowbook, Whitepages, Local.com, and YellowBot.
• Unified Information – Manage your listing through one account and ensure all consumers get the best information available for your business across multiple sites.

When will my account be verified?

If you have selected the manual verification, due to the volume of listings we estimate the verification to be completed in 60-90 days. When the listing is verified you will receive an email confirmation.

How do I add multiple listings at once to MapQuest Business Listings?

At this time, we have to independently verify each address and do not have a bulk upload option. This is a popular request and we hope to add it soon, but are still working through our beta phase.

How do I change the information in my business listing?

You may edit your listing information by signing into MapQuest Business Listings. Once signed in, click on your listing to update any necessary information. If your listing has already been verified, changes (other than a location map marker update) you submit will go live within half an hour of your submission.

How do I remove wrong information from showing on MapQuest.com?

How do I change the location marker of my business?

Please visit MapQuest Business Listings, where you can move your location marker by clicking the name of your business (or the edit option listed on the right), which then takes you to the original form you submitted. Then, under ‘Does the business location look correct to you?”, please click ‘Update Location Map Marker’. This change will be manually reviewed.

My business has been verified, why am I not finding it on Mapquest.com?

It is important when searching to give collateral information such as zip, city or state along with your business name in order to get the output of your particular business on MapQuest.com.

How can I improve results on MapQuest.com for my business listing?

MapQuest delivers organic search results based on Business Name, Business Categories and Geographic locations.

Can I create a business listing for an International location?

At this time, we are only supporting US listings while we work through our beta phase. We hope to expand this to other countries as soon as possible.

How can I create or update a business listing for a Canada location?

To create a business listing or update existing information for a Canada location we will need to manually update this for you. Please use this Canada Listing form to provide us with the information.
