Unidentified Crimes and
Unsolved Cases

On Saturday, February 2nd, at about 8 P.M., Modesto Police officers were called to a report of a shooting, near the intersection of W. Hatch Road and Dallas Street. When officers arrived they located the victim, a male adult in his early 50's, sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle, which was stopped for a red light at the intersection. Emergency personnel discovered the driver was deceased and had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Police are asking anyone that may have witnessed this to come forward.

On January 21, 2013, at 6:26 p.m. Modesto Police Officers were dispatched to investigate a robbery at the Coach store located at the Vintage Faire Mall. Surveillance photographs show the suspect attacking an employee to make his getaway. A Hispanic male entered the Coach store and grabbed several display purses. As he fled with the purses a store employee attempted to stop him from leaving. Surveillance photographs show the suspect getting ready to punch the employee and struggling with her. Witnesses state the suspect punched the employee with his fist causing her to fall. After assaulting the employee the suspect fled with the stolen purses. The suspect is described as approximately 5 foot, 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black Cincinnati Reds baseball cap, blue jeans and a gray sweater with red hood.

Modesto Police are asking for assistance in identifying this male. He is suspected of burglarizing a residence in Modesto, and using the victim's credit cards at a local Bank of the West and at other locations in Turlock, and Ceres.

The Turlock Police Department is investigating an incident that occurred on 1/16/13, at 1412 S. First St. where two unidentified subjects entered the victim's trailer and ordered everyone to the ground. The victim refused to get down and was shot. The responsible(s) immediately fled the scene in a burgundy car.

Modesto Police are looking for this man, one of two who robbed the Game Stop @3501 McHenry Avenue. The pictured suspect reportedly brandished a handgun. He is described as a Hispanic male 5ft8 or 5ft9 with a slender build in his early to mid 20s. The second suspect was a black male with no further description. Suspect's were seen leaving the store in a red beat up older model hatchback. If you know the identity of these male robbers please call.

Stanislaus Sheriff's Dept is asking for assistance in identifying this Robbery suspect. On 01/08/2013 around 7pm a robbery occurred at the Patterson Mini Mart @ 511 S. 2nd St. The Suspect is described as a white male MA or possibly a light skinned hispanic male in his early teens or 20's wearing a charcoal hooded sweatshirt and black pants armed with a shotgun. Suspect was in the store for about 1 minute and took over $400 in cash and several packs of Marlboro cigarettes.

Modesto Police are asking for assistance in identifying this man shown here. He is believed to be the responsible in at least 5 armed robberies in the Modesto Area on 11-27-12 and continuing with the most recent being the Walgreens robbery on 1/4/13 and AJs Market at 961 Coffee Rd. CAL State Stanislaus Police are asking for information on a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, January 5th at approximately 1:15 a.m. The victim, a white male,approximately 60 years of age, was walking southbound at CSU Stanislaus in Turlock near Geer Rd., just north of the Monte Vista Ave. The victim was approached by male suspect #1 who demanded his wallet. The victim shined a flashlight on the suspect and noticed the suspect was holding a small dark handgun. Suspect #2 came up from behind the victim and knocked him to the ground. The victim was struck in the head with an unknown object and the suspects then fled on bicycles. Suspect #1 is White or Hispanic male adult 22 to 26 years of age, goatee with no moustache, dark beanie cap under a dark hooded sweatshirt, and dark pants. Subject was last seen riding away on a small black BMX style bike with distinctive green three spoke rims. Suspect #2 is Unknown race male adult 22-26 years of age, dark clothing, and fingerless gloves. Subject was last seen riding away on a dark colored mountain bike. Modesto Police are trying to identify the male shown here. He is believed to be the responsible in a commercial burglary that occurred on 6/2/12 @ 0330 hrs @ the La Parilla Restaurant in Modesto.

Stanislaus Sheriff is investigating a theft that occurred on 12-18-12 at 549pm @ the Target Store in Riverbank. The hispanic female shown arrived at Riverbank Target driving a gold Chevrolet 2500 pickup. The female found a black bag containing an I-Pad and wallet left in a Target cart. The female put the black bag in her truck and used the same Target cart to shop. She failed to return the items and is wanted for theft @ this time.
