What's in the Kit?
- ANATOMY: body, skeleton, foot, foot bones, pads, and phalanges
- BREEDS: breed images and traits
- ANIMAL CARE AND MANAGEMENT: behavioral postures, parasites, muzzling, bathing, nail trimming, lifting, health care, licensing, and records
- CONFORMATION: bites, ears, and eyes; feet, pasterns, and stifles; front and rear legs; tails
- EQUIPMENT: care and grooming
- FACILITY MANAGEMENT: safety and sanitation issues
Kit Features
- Posters, pictures, labels, and task cards are printed on heavy paper and laminated. Easy to write on and erase!
- Labels are printed on polyethylene tags and come with Velcro dots, making learning tactile and fun.
- Includes heavy-duty, plastic storage bags and vinyl adhesive labels for easy organization.
- Special hands-on learning tools include a stuffed dog model, guillotine-style nail trimmers, and a model toe nail (vinyl tube and pipe cleaner).
- The Educator's Resource Materials Set includes reproducible masters for most of the kit contents.
- The sturdy mailing box is inserted into the custom canvas bag for convenient and durable storage and transportation.

Our online store allows you to place your order and follow up with payment by purchase order or check. (We’re working on accepting credit card orders and expect to be able to do so soon.)

- To use a purchase order, send a copy of your PO via fax or email to Ohio 4-H at 614.292.5937 or learninglabkits@osu.edu.
- To pay by check, send your payment to Ohio 4-H Learning Lab Kits, 2201 Fred Taylor Dr., Columbus, OH 43210. Please make your check payable to The Ohio State University.
NOTE: We require pre-payment with an authorized, signed purchase order OR check. Your order will be released for shipment when we receive one of these items.
Ohio tax-exempt customers: You will be asked to complete an exemption certificate and to fax or email it to Ohio 4-H (614.292.5937, learninglabkits@osu.edu). Non-exempt Ohio customers will be charged state sales tax.
Non-Ohio customers: You will NOT be charged sales tax; do NOT send a tax-exemption certificate.
