Lawn & Garden Equipment Learning Lab Kit
What's in the Kit?
- EQUIPMENT: basic equipment and tool images
- POWER SUPPLY: 2-cycle and 4-cycle engine parts and events (intake, power, exhaust, compression)
- OPERATION AND SAFETY: small engine troubleshooting, proper safety attire
- MAINTENANCE: engine maintenance and storage (air cleaner, blade sharpening, spark plugs, fuel selection)
Kit Features
- Posters, pictures, and task cards are printed on heavy paper and laminated. Easy to write on and erase!
- Labels are printed on polyethylene tags and come with Velcro dots, making learning tactile and fun.
- Special hands-on learning tools include a model of a 2-cycle engine and a flip book illustrating proper safety attire.
- The Educator's Resource Materials Set includes reproducible masters for most of the kit contents.
- The sturdy mailing box is inserted into the custom canvas bag for convenient and durable storage and transportation.

Our online store allows you to place your order and follow up with payment by purchase order or check. (We’re working on accepting credit card orders and expect to be able to do so soon.)

- To use a purchase order, send a copy of your PO via fax or email to Ohio 4-H at 614.292.5937 or learninglabkits@osu.edu.
- To pay by check, send your payment to Ohio 4-H Learning Lab Kits, 2201 Fred Taylor Dr., Columbus, OH 43210. Please make your check payable to The Ohio State University.
NOTE: We require pre-payment with an authorized, signed purchase order OR check. Your order will be released for shipment when we receive one of these items.
Ohio tax-exempt customers: You will be asked to complete an exemption certificate and to fax or email it to Ohio 4-H (614.292.5937, learninglabkits@osu.edu). Non-exempt Ohio customers will be charged state sales tax.
Non-Ohio customers: You will NOT be charged sales tax; do NOT send a tax-exemption certificate.
