Briarwood Academy is always looking for ways to improve the educational experience for our children. As we all know, funding is the one of the most powerful tools needed to reach these goals. For every new student you help bring to Briarwood Academy, you will receive a reduction in your child’s tuition equal to 10% of the tuition the new student pays for one year. Mrs. Pickrell Wins A Golden Apple.

Congratulations to Lisa Pickrell for Receiving the “Golden Apple” award from WJBF.
Mrs. Pickrell has been teaching K-5 at Briarwood since 1982.
She was nominated by The Wansleys who’s child Elizabeth attends Briarwood.
Laptop Raffle

The winner of this raffle will win a BRAND NEW, NAME BRAND PC laptop computer loaded with Windows and Microsoft Office
This is a perfect laptop for any student going to college or just as an upgrade to your current laptop.
Tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50.
You can purchase tickets at basketball games or the front office.
Drawing will be held April 25th at 1pm.

Briarwood Foundation Fundraising Drive

The BA Foundation is having it’s fundraising drive for the annual fund. The mission of the group is to do as much as $20,000 in capital improvements each school year. During the past three school years the foundation has been able to put $75,000 into projects which include re-roofing the main building and repaving the parking lots and driveways.
The foundation is very appreciative of our many supporters and your contributions have enabled the facilities at Briarwood to continue to improve. We hope that you will contribute this year knowing that 100% of your money will be going to a needy project and is tax deductible. The foundations can accept stocks and cash.
