What Is A Podcast?
A podcast is a way to download the latest programs and news to your computer automatically. You need three things to access KCPW’s podcasts:
- A computer
- An internet connection
- Free podcasting software, such as iTunes, Odeo, or Juice
You will need free software to choose the podcasts you want to grab. Once installed, your program will automatically download updated content via the internet. You can subscribe to as many podcast feeds as you like. You can then listen to the podcast whenever you want from your computer or a portable media player.
Note: Our audio format is MP3; you will need an audio player capable of playing MP3 files to use our podcasts. Windows Media Player, Quicktime, iTunes and many others are compatible with the MP3 format.
