STRATEGY MEETINGS: March 12 and April 9 at 6:30 p.m. Note change of location to The Mad Platter Restaurant. Everyone is welcome to join our local issues & business meetings. We will meet in March and April at the Mad Platter restaurant, 1239 Sixth Ave. North, Nashville 37208. (near the Nashville Farmer's Market). We are an active local group, made up of volunteers dedicated to exploring, preserving and sharing the beauty of our nation's and Tennessee’s wild spaces. Nationwide, Sierra Club members and supporters are made up of more than 1.3 million people, just like you. We are the largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. Come dream, discuss and discover with us. Together we host group hikes, floats, informative monthly programs and group outings and provide our community with environmental education programs, legislative support, and opportunities to learn from and share our love of the outdoors. We need Leaders and Helpers for Sunday Floats, Hikes and Family Walks! If you would like to become an outings leader, or have a contact for guides or experts willing to host Nature based events, please contact Craig Jervis. Volunteer at the Recycling site. Every Saturday 9:00 - 12:00 a.m. The bins are in front of the Kroger at 3955 Nolensville Road, Nashville, TN. The recycling site earns the MTG needed income.
