The Wait for The Alley is OVER

The Wait for The Alley is OVER

spacer Yes, The Alley is opening today, which means Home Team Heads will no longer have to drive to the far-ish reaches of the Lowcountry to dig into their award-winning meats. Sure, Home Team Kitchen is a somewhat barbecue-free zone, but Fiery Ron Siegel and his band of merry meatsters (like chef Taylor Garrigan) have pulled together a new down-home menu that has a few echoes of the original Home Team BBQ concept.

Hold onto your White Russian. Here's the menu.>>

Keeping in the tradition of its predecessors, there's green chili, served over nachos or in a bowl, and a take on their famous mac and cheese. Unlike the barbecue joints, there's also a selection of what they're now calling "feel good foods," like french bread pizzas, po boys, a double-stacked burger, and heftier entrees, like spaghetti and meatballs and steak and eggs. There's a sprawling bar downstairs and a smaller one upstairs and, of course, the lanes and various arcade games. The hours are 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
