Your PIN is initially your birth month and birth date. The first time you access information on your Academics tab of My.IllinoisState.edu, it must be changed to any four digit number except your birth month and birth day. Afterward, at any time you choose, you may change your PIN by accessing your profile within My.IllinoisState.edu and by following the instructions.
If you forget your PIN, bring your photo I.D. to the Registrar Service Center (Moulton Hall 107), or fax the PIN default request form to the Registrar Service Center at (309) 438-8652. You must include your name, University I.D. number (UID), date of birth, your signature and a photocopy of your University identification card.
The University Identification Number (UID) is the best and most effective way to uniquely identify you for the purpose of accurately processing and maintaining your educational records.
This number is used as the student identification number and is restricted to internal University use. For any reports required by the Federal or State Government, and for the following: matching admission applications with ACT or GRE scores, matching admission status with financial aid, and for providing loan verification, we must use your social security number.
For additional information or limited access of your social security number and/or UID, please contact us before the tenth day of class by phone at (309) 438-2188 or by mail at:
