Carrie Fisher Says She's Also in New Star War

March 6, 2013 / Comments

Turns out it's not just Harrison Ford who's returning to their most iconic, beloved film role. Carrie Fisher has now promised she too will be doing that, giving the rumor-hungry fanboys of Palm Beach Illustrated a simple "yes" when asked to confirm her reprisal of Princess Leia.

Assumedly, her confirmation means the rest of the returning cast will also soon be announced. Or that they won't, and J.J. Abrams has all along just been planning a top-secret revival of Fisher's hilariously-candid, autobiographical one-woman show, Wishful Drinking. We'll have to wait and see if there are lightsabers.

First introduced in the mid-70s, the Steadicam brought about something of a revolution in film, allowing for tracking shots without the prohibitive track of dollies, and without the shakiness you usually get when you follow someone around with a camera trying not to be caught. In appreciation of the invention, Refocused Media has put together a ten-minute montage of some of its best uses, featuring the works of greats like Scorsese, Kubrick, and also a few episodes of The West Wing to make you say, "Dammmmmmn, that's steady." Say it below.

Here's what's supposedly the final Iron Man 3 trailer, and it looks like things are getting pretty Nolan Batman-y for Robert Downey Jr. this time around. He's moping around his luxurious home! His girlfriend is in dire peril! Mid-air planes are dumping out passengers! There's a sociopathic villain speaking in droning, drawn-out syllables! Michael Caine now plays loving assistant Pepper Potts! Thankfully, Iron Man seems to now have a whole army of Iron Guys to fight back, so things should probably be alright. Collect them all, kids, and have a look below.
