About
The Office of Instructional Resources provides live webcasting services for the University of Central Florida. These services offer university departments, such as the Office of the President, the ability to reach a world-wide community during Commencements, State of the University Addresses, Board of Governor's meetings, and other high-profile events. In addition Webcast also services the larger UCF community. UCFWEBCAST videos are viewable in your internet browser and mobile iOS devices. The videos are streaming and cannot be downloaded to your computer. If you would like to have a version of a video viewable off-line you can contact the UCF Bookstore for purchase. (Note: The UCF Bookstore does not stock all archived videos. Available videos are limited supply and are only available while supplies last.)
When viewing UCFWebCast video on your PC (Windows or MAC) you simply click the "Play" icon to the right of the video description. You can also make the video full screen by clicking the size icon in the lower right on the player; to exit the full-screen mode simple click your escape key.
When viewing UCFWebCast video on your iOS device you click the "Play on iPhone/iPad" icon to the right of the video description.
For best viewing of UCFWebCast video you should have the following:

FAQ
I have all the required hardware and software, however when I click to watch my video I am unable to see it or I get an error message stating that the stream is unavailable.
Answer: There are two things that could cause this. One: You, your employer, or your internet service provider are running a hardware or software firewall that is not allowing the stream to connect. We are using port 1935 to connect to the video stream and if this port is blocked you will still be able to choose the video but the stream will not be available. Two: You have chosen a link that is currently unavailable or is broken. It is recommended that you check to make sure that the ports are not block by a hardware or software firewall either at your computer or by your internet service provider. If they are open then you should check back later to see if the stream has been made available.
Can I save a stream that I watch on UCFWEBCAST?
Answer: No, the video that is available on the UCFWEBCAST is for streaming purposes only and is not available for download. If you are interested in a copy of a video on this site you should contact the UCF Bookstore to see if it is available for purchase or contact the department or organization that hosted the meeting to see if they have a copy of the video for duplication.
I missed part of a live stream, will it be made available to watch later?
Answer: Many of our live streams are archived however the stream archive is an option made available to the host of the event and therefore is not always available. If a stream is archived it will be available to watch within 24 hours of the completion of the event. Note: All UCF commencement events are archived.
I cannot find an archive of a stream that I know I have seen on UCFWEBCAST, why when I search the archive I donβt see it?
Answer: When we stream events on UCFWEBCAST the archive feature is at the discretion of the event host. If an organization or department chooses not to have their event stream archived the stream will not appear on the UCFWEBCAST page. In the event that you are looking for a stream that does not appear in the archive we recommend that you contact the department or organization that hosted the event to see if they have a copy of the event available.
