It is now

Wednesday, July 18th, 2007

Yes, as Hester has said - this is our blog’s final bow. I don’t know about any of you (if there are any ‘you’ left out there), but we will treasure it as a reminder of the most intense years of our life; after all, pre-blog life seems like it happened to different people, so the people we now are have lived their whole lives in the light of this selective, intermittent visibility. Never mind, though: with the way the world now turns, it should only be a couple of years before Bridget and Tom’s lives are lived out in full web-available form on Facebook or Myspace or their ever more revelatory successors, and you can pick up the story again, and see if you recognise them. Or us.

Come on, it’s time to go to sleep now. Lights out.

One small modification

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Oh, by the way - I’ve made one small modification to the blog (or rather to Chris’s nice little Wayback plugin) which means that at the bottom of the sidebar to the right, you should find a list of blog entries from two years ago - i.e., when Bridget was Tom’s age. It makes for interesting comparisons…

Apologies

Photos - soon.

Blog graphics changed to reflect new arrival - soon.

Currently: small computing problem delaying these developments.

Continued development

Tuesday, April 12th, 2005

Okay, the site’s been tweaked in a few places. The sidebar now appears on all archive pages; there’s a small photo of Bridget on the fridge; the header logo is a link to the front page; there should be a single pixel line gap at the top of the fridge; and problems in IE 6 with the alignment of archive pages should have gone away. Have I broken anything in the process? IE 5 for Mac is doing something odd with the ‘news for Bridget’s adoring fans’ tagline - is that happening on anyone else’s browser? Anything else I need to fix?
